Damien - Da Ming - Celebrity Grip

Graduated from Hai Sing Catholic High in 2011

People call me Damien. Some call me Da Ming some call me the celebrity grip. I work in the media industry, holding the position of Business Development Director at Cam Rolling Studio LLP as well as Three Little Pics LLP. In my free time, I relief teach at our Alma Mater Hai Sing Catholic School, teaching Physical Education.

Sometimes I freelance as a Lighting Grip and I have lighted for many Television Commercials (TVC) that you may have seen on TV or social media platform. To date I have clocked in more than 100 productions while learning the ropes on the go. Many say it’s an interesting feat for a young chap who did not study in the relevant discipline.

While my former teachers turned colleagues always joked that I am the oldest student in school that never left, I thought that it is a symbol of the passing our knowledge and what we have learned to our next generation. There are many values that Hai Sing taught me in the course of 4 years as a student.

I graduated in 2011 and have since completed Diploma studies in Nanyang Polytechnic. In Business, I always believed in Truth, Charity and Integrity. We speak and deliver only the truth to the clients while imbibed with integrity. Without credibility, there will never be a returning customer. In my company, our culture do not condone actions that raises integrity issues. When there is a problem the team works together and help one another and not just sweep problems under the carpet.

With a dedicated team, we continue to be charitable in our knowledge and shares it with the next generation. Often these new bloods have very creative method while providing solutions. Learning is a never-ending process. Be on task and learn as much as you can. Look forward to be meeting everyone from our Hai Sing family.
